“Princess Curabanda fell in love with Mixcoac, head of a neighboring enemy tribe. When his father, Curabande, realized the relationship, he captured Mixcoac and threw it into the crater of the volcano. Curabanda went to live next to the volcano and gave birth to a son. To allow the son to be with his father, she also threw him into the volcano.
